Verbena, a favourite scent of the Bonapartes, has been blended with a fresh accord of bergamot, blackcurrant, fresh green tea and musk. The young Prince Imperial Eugène Bonaparte, son of Napoleon III was exiled in England during the reign of Queen Victoria where he attended King’s College, London University. After being commissioned to the British army he was tragically killed in battle and recognised for bravery. A bottle of ‘verveine’ was one of his few personal possessions retrieved from the field.
